Having recently stayed at Astra, I found it to be a pleasant 3-star hotel with a questionable 4-star status. The location was convenient, walking distance from the railway station and close to the center of Ferrara. The room was clean and comfortable, with a newly renovated bathroom. The breakfast buffet was satisfying, meeting the standard for this hotel class.The hotel offered a free lobby computer, a rarity nowadays, which was a helpful amenity. In terms of additional services, they provided a free garage for bicycle storage, which was appreciated. The staff were polite and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience.While Astra is a decent choice for a stay in Ferrara, the value proposition should be considered. The hotel lacks some luxury amenities commonly found in higher-rated establishments. For those seeking a comfortable and convenient stay without extra frills, Astra could be a suitable option at a reasonable price point.
